The Law Offices of Carol L. Edward & Associates, P.S., represents clients in citizenship and naturalization matters before Immigration Judges, the Board of Immigration Appeals, as well as Federal Courts. The following is a general description of the types of proceedings held in immigration law:

The Immigration Courts and Board of Immigration Appeals are part of the Executive Office for Immigration Review, U.S. Department of Justice.

The immigration courts are located throughout the United States, including courts in Seattle, WA and Portland, OR.

The Board of Immigration Appeals: Commonly referred to as the BIA, the Board of Immigration Appeals issues appellate administrative decisions that all officers of the Department of Homeland Security and Immigration Judges must follow.
